The Coronagraph Instrument will perform direct imaging of exoplanets via coronagraphy of the host star. We present the design and development of the highly stable optical bench structure. It utilized an innovative approach of using in-house developed Matlab-based tool that accounts for the complex alignment compensations during operations to derive opto-mechanical requirements in simple terms. The design was successfully verified by the end-to-end Structural-Thermal-Optical-Performance analysis. We present the requirements derivation process as well as the final verification results.
