This dataset can be used for drawing all figures in the paper "Large water inventory in a highly adsorptive regolith near the equator simulated by a Mars global climate model" by M. Kobayashi, A. Kamada, T. Kuroda, H. Kurokawa, S. Aoki, H. Nakagawa, N. Terada.  The following files are included: run1.zip,  run2.zip,  run3.zip,  run4.zip, and  run5.zip. Each zip file with a name beginning with "data" contains ascii files of Adsorption coefficient in kg/m3 (ads0.asc),  Atmospheric water vapor column in kg/m2 (colwv2.asc),  Effective diffusion coefficient in m2/s (dif2.asc),  Porosity for the ice-free regolith (phi0.asc),  Surface pressure in hPa (Ps.asc),  Grain size in m (rd.asc),  Pore size in m (rp.asc),  Surface temperature in K (Ts.asc),  Ground temperature in K (Tg.asc),  Adsorbed water mass in kg/m3 (wga2.asc),  Column adsorbed water mass in kg/m2 (wga2c.asc),  Pore ice mass in kg/m3 (wgi2.asc),  Column pore ice mass in kg/m2 (wgi2c.asc),  Water vapor mass in the regolith in kg/m3 (wgv2.asc), and  Column water vapor mass in the regolith in kg/m2 (wgv2c.asc). Data for numbers 1–8 have a horizontal resolution of T10 (corresponding to a triangular truncation at wavenumber 10) and a vertical layer (at the surface). Data for numbers 9–15 have a horizontal resolution of T10 and 17 ground layers down to 20 m. Each data starts from Ls=0° in the last year after 500 Martian years of calculations and is output in 3 Martian-day time intervals. The data files wga2c.asc and wgi2c.asc contain the layer values multiplied by the layer thicknesses added together from the surface. The data file wgv2c.asc contains the layer values multiplied by the layer thicknesses and the porosity added together from the surface. The zip file "run5.zip" only has the following data with a short time interval: Atmospheric water vapor column in kg/m2 (colwv2-s.asc) and Surface temperature in K (Ts-s.asc). These files have a horizontal resolution of T10 and a vertical layer (at the surface). Each data starts from Ls=0°, 0:00 at longitude 0° in the last year after 500 Martian years of calculations and is output in 1 hour time intervals.
