Phytophthora suppressors of RNA silencing (PSRs) significantly enhance infection in Arabidopsis, soybean and Nicotiana benthamiana, suggesting that RNA silencing suppression is an important virulence strategy. By conducting small RNA and mRNA profiling of PSR2 transgenic Arabidopsis line, we investigated the role of PSR2 in manipulating plant immunity.
