Arabidopsis thaliana taeniata (tae) mutant

The collection of the Department of Genetics of the Lomonosov Moscow State University has an Arabidopsis mutant with the required characteristics that relate to leaf development. This mutant produces narrow lamina and therefore is called taeniata (tae). In this work, we have characterized in detail the successive stages of leaf development in the tae mutant and obtained additional evidence for the gradual loss of identity of the developed leaf cells and their acquisition of the pluripotent state. Genetic analysis and gene identification using mapping based on NGS sequencing, as well as transcriptome analysis, were performed.
