The effect of nitrogen and phosphorus addition on soil microbial community and metabolic function in the Qinghai Tibet Plateau Raw sequence reads

To better predict soil microbial communities and metabolic functions under nutrient imbalance conditions, a N and P fertilization experiment was conducted in an ecologically sensitive alpine meadow on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. Analyses included soil properties, plant communities, N, P cycling gene diversity, metagenomic taxonomy and function, and soil metabolites.These results highlight how nutrient inputs reduce microbial functional redundancy and destabilize soil ecosystems.
