AOS: 3 wavelength Particle Soot Absorption Photometer

The crgaospsap3wS2.a1 datastream contains measurements of aerosol absorption from the Aerosol Observing System (AOS) 3-wavelength Particle Soot Absorption Photometer. This instrument collects aerosol particles on a substrate and measures the change in light transmission relative to a reference filter to derive bulk particle absorption, correcting for scattering effects. The data were collected at Facility S2 (Baltimore, MD, Supplemental Facility 2 in a rural setting), which is located at the CRG site (Baltimore, MD, USA, Mobile Facility for CoURAGE), between December 1, 2024, and December 1, 2025.
