Northern Indian Ocean 3-D Chlorophyll-a Concentration

This product consists of 3D fields of Chlorophyll-a concentration (Chla) in the northern Indian Ocean during 2000-2019. The reprocessed product is provided at 0.25°x0.25° horizontal resolution, over 32 levels from the surface to 200 m depth. The random forest (RF)-based method estimates the vertical distribution of Chla concentration from merged surface ocean color satellite measurements with hydrological properties and additional relevant drivers.
