In summary, this study developed a mouse model for SD by combining rotational stimulation and visual occlusion. Evaluation of the model showed physiological changes, impaired motor and cognitive function, and neuronal activation in the hippocampus. Transcriptomic analysis revealed a possible underlying mechanism of SD. These findings lay a foundation for further investigation into the molecular mechanisms underlying SD. Vestibular spatial disorientation was stimulated by multi-axis rotation coupling in mice, and the hippocampus was immediately obtained for transcriptome sequencing
