Interview excerpts as paper planes - Kiss My Archive

Interview excerpts that were included in the performance work, Kiss My Archive. Some of the quotations formed spoken text for the performers, or else the pages were printed, folded into paper planes and flown into the audience. Kiss My Archive is a performance-based research outcome of the Staging Australian Women’s Lives: Theatre, Feminism and Socially Engaged Art research project, presented as a one-night-only live event on International Women’s Day in 2024. Developed through archival research, collective memory-work, and creative collaboration, the performance asks urgent questions of the archive itself: What is an archive? Who is included? Who decides? And who is it for? Kiss My Archive is part of Staging Australian Women’s Lives: Theatre, Feminism & Socially Engaged Art, an ARC Discovery Project (DP200102876), led by Professor Stacy Holman Jones, Professor Daniel X.
