资源简介:
In this dataset, we share the stimulus files (speech sounds and noise), stimulus information, experiment files, analytical scripts and individual data (behavioural and MRI) for a study published in the Journal of Cognitive Neuroscience. With this material, the experiment can be replicated and the stimuli and task can be reused for other non-commercial purposes.
The objective of this study was to determine if sub-lexical speech perception in noise (SPiN) performance can be enhanced by applying transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to three regions involved in processing speech: the left posterior temporal sulcus (pSTS), the left superior temporal gyrus (STG) and the left ventral premotor cortex (PMv). Participants completed a SPiN task in the MRI, and outside the MRI after TMS and placebo stimulation.
