Single Cell Sequencing of alveolar bone

Corticotomy-assisted tooth movement is widely recognized in clinics, but its time-limited efficacy and the fear of surgery among patients significantly limit its clinical application. Hence, non-invasive methods of accelerating tooth movement have become a hot research topic for researchers. However, the molecular mechanisms underlying corticotomy-assisted tooth movement are not fully clarified. In this study, we identified a significant increase in iron metabolism-related genes post-corticotomy using single-cell RNA sequencing in digested alveolar bone.
