Oocytes were injected with 50 nl (1 ng/nl) SLC2A9a or SLC2A9b cRNA or water and incubated at 18 ��C for 4 d. The expression of SLC2A9a and SLC2A9b was visualized using a primary antibody to the same C-terminal peptide sequence of both proteins, a fluorescent secondary antibody, and confocal microscopy.
