Dataset for the qualitative component of the project 'Digital transformation of health and social care: Welfare technology acceptance and knowledge among current and future healthcare and social care professionals'

This dataset is a part of a qualitative study that explores knowledge, attitudes, and experiences of Slovenian nursing students and registered nurses with assistive technologies (i.e., telecare, telemedicine, socially assistive robots) in the care of older adults. The study aimed to explore how they engage with those technologies, with a focus on their emotional and cognitive attitudes, practical experiences, and educational needs. Nine focus groups were conducted between March and September 2024, with a total of 53 participants (34 nursing students, 19 registered nurses). They were recruited via purposive sampling. The files comprises transcripts in Slovenian language (in .doc format) and anonymized demographic data. Transcripts are anonymized; names provided in the file are fictional to ensure confidentiality.
