This series consists of the Board of Fire Commissioners' copies of correspondence, newspaper cuttings, and printed copies of Acts which relate to the establishment and continuance of the Bush Fires Advisory Committee, which was retitled the Bush Fire Committee. The information contained includes a copy of the Report, and recommendations, of the Royal Commission of Inquiry on Bush Fires, 1927, which advised the setting up of the Committee; newspaper cuttings outlining the history of the Commission, and; the Local Government (Bush Fires) Amendment Act 1932, and other Acts relating to the establishment and continuance of the Bush Fires Advisory Committee.
