NRS-5261 | Annual reports on immigration in other states, and related papers

The annual reports are for Victoria (1854-61); South Australia (1854-59); Tasmania (1855-60); and Queensland (1863-64). All the papers about a particular state are bound together. The Annual reports are of a standard form showing important statistics which (in the case of Victoria) are accompanied by voluminous appendices and sub-reports from assistant agents at Geelong and other depots. Among the related papers are: Subsidiary returns called for by the various Parliaments at various times. Reports from Agents, the Colonial Land and Emigration Commissioners, and other bodies, upon policy matters. Minutes of the 1863 Select Committee of the Queensland Legislative Assembly on Immigration, and other Select Committee reports. Some of the papers were registered as in-letters. (4/4704). 1 vol.
