In this work, novel meso-crowned porphyrin derivative was designed, synthesized, and introduced as the passivation layer on the top of perovskite layer in planar n−i−p heterojunction perovskite solar cells (PSCs). This data set contains the optoelectronic, morphological (SEM, AFM) compositional characterization of the resulted thin films (XPS) and photovoltaic properties of the fabricated solar cells (J-V curves, EQE, carrier recombination, power conversion efficiency, hysteresis effect) together with their stability at different conditions. The resulting perovskite films were also characterized by steady-state photoluminescence (PL), time-resolved PL (TRPL) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) measurements.
