Genome-wide maps of chromatin state changes upon Ano1 deficiency in mouse aortic smooth muscle cells

To explore the role of smooth muscle cell (SMC) Ano1 in atherosclerosis, Ano1 SMC-sepcific knockout mice (Ano1) and the control mice (WT) were injected with AAV-PCSK9DY followed by feeding a high-fat diet for 12 weeks. Subsequently, mouse aortic SMCs (MASMCs) were isolated and subjected to Chip sequencing (ChIP-seq) analysis. Overall design: ChIP-seq was performed to analysis the chromatin state changes and transcriptional factor MAFK enrichment in MASMCs from HFD-fed Ano1 and WT mice.
