Potential patients were screened by reviewing their medical records by the research team prior to consent to verify their eligibility according to inclusion/exclusion criteria. Inclusion Criteria Patients > 18 years of age and willing to participate. Fluency in either English or Spanish Stable patients who will undergo cardiac catheterization with or without PCI with either a positive stress test or angina defined as Class I-IV of the Canadian Scoring System. Stable patients who will undergo Cardiac CT Imaging with a positive stress test or angina defined as Class I-IV of the Canadian Scoring System. Signed written Informed Consent. Exclusion criteria Patients who have acute myocardial infarction (ST-segment elevation presentation, new Q waves or non-ST segment elevation with CK-MB > 5 times above the upper normal (31.5 ng/ml) within 72 hours). Patients who are in cardiogenic shock. Patients with platelet count < 100,000 cell/mm3. Patients who have co-morbidity which reduces life expectancy to one year. Patients who are currently participating in an investigational drug/device study. Patients with liver disease. Patient with kidney disease requiring dialysis. Patients having undergone heart transplantation, or those being considered for heart transplantation. Active autoimmune disease. Current infection requiring antibiotic and/or antifungal medications. Fever defined as temperature > 38.5 degrees C. Active or recurrent cancer. Peripheral arterial occlusive disease with rest pain. ]]>
