Identification of candidate genes associated with sheath blight resistance in mutant population

The study was performed in the second filial generation population of mutant rice (Oryza sativa) with susceptible genotype to examine sheath blight resistance Quantitative Trait Loci in the population. Next generation sequencing mediated whole genome sequencing was employed. As the result of the experiment, we would get the pooled whole genome sequences of the resistant bulk and the susceptible bulk, and we would also get the whole genome sequences of the mutants TI26 and BPT5204. The sequences can be utilized for MutMap Quantitative Trait Loci sequencing analysis through updated pipeline.
