An Exercise in Corpus Creation: Selecting Texts from Il Foglio and Il Foglio AI

Based on a comparative approach, the aim behind the following work is to illustrate the formation of a corpus and see what analyses might be useful in the detection of potential differences between texts generated with AI and texts written by human authors. More specifically, when looking at texts on similar topic areas, will there be differences between the two modes of text production in terms of the TTR (type-token ratio), the frequency of lemmas, the title design and the lead design?
