Characterization of bacterial communities within coral microhabitats (polyps and coenosarcs). coral metagenome

The goal of this study is to evaluate variability of bacterial communities within microhabitats of corals, polyps and coenosarcs, to contribute to the determination of common attributes of a healthy coral microbiome. The structure and composition of bacterial communities in polyps and coenosarcs of Pocillopora damicornis were evaluated using 16s rRNA amplicon and Illumina MiSeq sequencing.
