资源简介:
Axolotl (Ambystoma mexicanum) is a valuable amphibian model organism for regenerative and developmental biology. In this study, profiling of microbial communities in the course of Axolotl limb regeneration was performed using Illumina MiSeq platform based on 16s amplicon sequencing. Samples were collected repeatedly from the amputation site of the Axolotl right forelimb at multiple time points. The experimental timeline included samples collected at 0, 1, 4, 7, 30 and 60 days post amputation (dpa). These days correspond to intact (0 dpa), wound epithelium (1 dpa), blastema (4 and 7 dpa) and restored stages (30 and 60 dpa) of Axolotl limb regeneration. Each timepoint was investigated using three biological replicates. In addition, aquarium water samples were included as a control group. Generated raw sequencing data constitutes an initial dataset on microbiome associated with Axolotl limb regeneration. This effort provides novel insights into microbial diversity patterns and microbiome dynamics of this biological process.
