Ice-surface velocity in 1996 of Jostedalsbreen ice cap, Norway from European Remote Sensing satellite (ERS-1/-2) data

- Dataset description - This dataset contains x- and y- components of the ice-surface velocity of Jostedalsbreen ice cap in winter 1996. The data covers the southern, northern and some of the central parts of the ice cap.The ice-surface velocity maps were derived from three European Remote Sensing satellite (ERS-1/ERS-2) tandem pairs using InSAR. The ERS-1/ERS-2 ascending pairs were acquired on 20/21 January 1996 and 11/12 February 1996, the descending on 22/23 March 1996.
