Associations between normal thyroid function and blood lipids were found in observational studies. It remains uncertainty if normal thyroid function causally influences blood lipids and warrants considerations in the prevention and intervention of dyslipidemia. We performed a two-sample Mendelian randomization (MR) to investigate the potential causal associations between normal thyroid function and the four blood lipids using large-scale GWAS summary statistics in European population.
