Transcriptome profiling of HepG2 cells under control and high ammonia treatment

This study aims to investigate the transcriptomic changes in HepG2 human hepatocellular carcinoma cells in response to high ammonia treatment. HepG2 cells were divided into two groups: a control group (normal culture medium) and a high ammonia treatment group (culture medium supplemented with ammonia). Each group contained 6 biological replicates. Total RNA was extracted and subjected to high-throughput RNA sequencing to identify differentially expressed genes and pathways involved in the cellular response to ammonia stress.
