The papers are related to a survey concerned with the relationship of "working areas" to "living areas". A considerable quantity of statistics is included relating to numbers etc. living in various sections of the County of Cumberland. Also on file are copies of press articles by the Hon. Arthur Calwell, when Minister for Immigration, relating to Australia's post-war immigration policy.
