Analysis data for calibrating autonomous recording units to estimate sound pressure levels

This dataset contains prepared tabular data supporting the manuscript “Calibrating autonomous recording units to estimate sound pressure levels using frequency-band univariate models and microphone sensitivity”. The files include autonomous recording unit octave-band summaries, sound pressure level meter reference measurements, microphone sensitivity measurements, meteorological covariates, a data dictionary, and a README file. The data support calibration analyses linking recorder-derived octave-band summaries to meter-referenced octave-band sound pressure levels. Playback rows are retained in the prepared files for transparency, but the seven-context analyses reported in the manuscript use the real-world field contexts: airport, backyard, construction, industrial, light rail transit, park, and road. Raw audio files are not included because the manuscript analyses use derived 60 s tabular summaries rather than raw waveform files.
