strand-specific RNA sequencing to identify NAT in cotton under cold stress

To explore the interspecific conservation of NATs associated with cold stress in cotton, we employed strand-specific RNA sequencing (RNA-Seq) to systematically identify NATs in G. hirsutum and G. barbadense. In total, we characterized 815 and 689 NATs from G. hirsutum and G. barbadense, respectively. Of those, 224 were interspecific homologs.
