Registros de precipitación (Re-análisis de ERA5, 1980 a 2022) de 460 ubicaciones espaciales muy cercanas a estaciones meteorológicas del territorio de Chile (latitud -17,5 a -56,0; longitud -76,0 a -66,0)

Starting from a grid with a spatial resolution of 0.25 x 0.25, from ERA5 reanalysis data, with a spatial domain that covers continental Chile (latitude -17.5 to -56.0; longitude -76.0 to -66.0, corresponding to 6355 points), 460 spatial locations are obtained with daily (accumulated) precipitation records (in mm) for 43 years (1980 to 2022) very close to meteorological stations. We use these data for the analysis of precipitation, avoiding the use of daily precipitation records from local measuring stations located throughout the country, which contain missing data, and not all with sufficient historical records (over 30 years). In this way, we avoid imputation, differences in the duration and quality of the records.
