Students at the University of Copenhagen, 1760-1967

The study is a mapping of first-year students at the University of Copenhagen in the period 1760-1967. A data file containing data for all the years is kept at the Danish National Archives (Rigsarkivet). The DDA holds a data file containing data from 1760-1901. # #The survey contains information on the students' sex, age and social background, as well as their geographical background (nationality, county of place of residence and degree of urbanization), their choice of subjects and the faculty (from 1921) at the time of matriculation, their subject and faculty at the time of graduation, length of the study and the degree obtained, change of subject or faculty (from 1921), and their later position in life
