This dataset is specially tailored for machine learning research. It contains complete solar images captured by the Atmospheric Imaging Assembly (AIA) instrument aboard the Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) spacecraft, and has been updated. The SDOMLv2 dataset resolves post-2019 calibration variations and incorporates all available data up to the current date. The tasks enabled by this dataset include synthetic solar image generation and solar flare prediction.
