Monolistra_pretneri_transcriptome_assembly

<i>De novo</i> transcriptome of cave freshwater isopod species <i>Monolistra pretneri</i> (Sphaeromatidae). Animals were flash-frozen in liquid nitrogen. Total RNA was isolated using a spin column-based commercial kit and RNA was additionally DNase treated. RNA from 3 individuals were equimolary pooled for library prep. A bead-based, poly(A) selection kit was used for the preparation of the libraries and the sequencing was carried out on the Illumina NovaSeq 6000 platform with read length of 2x150 bb. The raw full-length reads were deposited in the NCBI Sequence Read Archive with the BioProject accession number PRJNA1056448 (Biosamples SAMN39098634, SAMN39098635, SAMN39098636). Species-specific<i> d</i><i>e novo</i> transcriptome was generated using Trinity software.<br>
