资源简介:
The purpose of an admission register was to record basic details about children admitted to the school and their parents or guardians. The registers were also used to record the progress of the children through various classes and the date of their leaving the school. These registers contain information pertaining to each student including: date of admission; pupil's name; date of birth; religious denomination; name of previous school and date of leaving. The following details are recorded about the child's parents or guardians: name, residence and occupation. The pupil's date of admission to each subsequent grade, date of leaving the school and any occupation entered into on leaving school is also recorded. The earliest admission register (NRS-21820-1-1-SCH18/11969) pre-dates the opening of Albury High School as it covers both the secondary students from Albury District School from 1915-1919 and then Albury High School students from 1920-1930 within the same register. An admission register for the Boys and Girls Hostel at Albury High School is also included within this series and therefore its dates overlap with the school admission registers.Admission registers in paper format ceased in 1999 when the department moved to recording enrolment details in electronic format.
