One of 2 ogham stones discovered c. 1840 when a flour mill (Mullenroe) was demolished on the site of a possible ringfort in tld of Mountrivers, Co. Cork. The 2nd ogham stone is in the British Museum. This stone was used for a time as a foot bridge over the Delehinagh river. In 1851 it was erected beside nearby St Olan's holy well. It is heavily covered with lichen and moss and the ogham inscription reading [MADOR]A MAQI DEGO is worn at the lower end.
