Children's responses and creations from Jac's River Adventure workshops in Wales, United Kingdom

The excel file presents the textual data (transcribed verbal responses) from children about Jac's River Adventure and local features (tab: CodedConnections), local river species (tab: CodedSpeciesKnowledge), and the elements, perspective, and whether an actual or imagined experience expressed in their river adventure creations (tab: Coded-Elements-byID). The zip file contains visual data (the children's creations) made during the Jac's River Adventure Workshops. The ID numbers for each visual data in the zip file correspond with the ID in the third tab of the excel file for matching up the verbal and visual expressions by the children. 
The two datasets are presented in Januchowski-Hartley, S.R., Giannoulatou, I.D., Evans,  J., and Howells, S. (in review). Jac’s River Adventure: exploring an arts-based method for research and engagement about rivers in classrooms.
