To investigate the inter- and intra-tumoral phenotypic heterogeneity in a cohort of 27 diffuse large B cell lymphomas.
Conclusion:
Each patient sample of DLBCL is phenotypically unique, and a subset of patients carry multiple phenotypically unique sub-populations of tumors. In some cases, these sub-populations carry unique mutations which align with their phenotypic patterns.
Notes:
Normalization efforts can overcome severe batch effects, 25 runs of CyTOF acquisition to be seamlessly integrated. Entropy analysis may be a useful tool for identifying tumor cells in the absence of other descriptive markers.
