In this project, we analyzed the microbial community structure of each part of Acer palmatum (bark, branch and leaf) and surrounding soil sample. The purpose of this analysis was to understand the characteristics of the microbial community of each sample and the existence of phylogenetically novel bacteria, and combining the isolation of bacteria, we evaluated the potential of Acer palmatum bark as a potential source of uncultivated bacteria.
