Etnografia. Archivi, collezioni o raccolte? L'esempio etnografico del Treno 8017

This article, originally presented in Tricase within the School of History of Popular Traditions organized by Liquilab, reflects on the relationship between ethnography, archives, and family collections as devices for the production of cultural memory. Ethnography is understood as a relational and performative practice grounded in encounter and critical dialogue, capable of bringing to light the "forgotten human histories" evoked by Ernesto de Martino. Through the analysis of audiovisual materials produced by the "Annabella Rossi" Anthropology Laboratory at the University of Salerno, the article shows how these collections become sites where memory is negotiated and collective meanings are constructed. The study highlights the value of audiovisual ethnography as a tool for the critical activation of social memories.
