ASTI Yemen database

This dataset contains national-level data on financial, human, and institutional resources for agricultural research and development (R&D). Accurate, reliable, and internationally comparable quantitative information on investments, human capacity, and the institutional structure of agricultural R&D is fundamental to understanding the contribution of research to agricultural growth in low- and middle-income countries. Providing such data is the mission of IFPRI’s Agricultural Science and Technology Indicators (ASTI) program. Through its large network of national, regional, and international partners, ASTI collects and analyzes data from government, higher education, nonprofit, and (where possible) private-sector agencies involved in agricultural R&D. The program conducts ongoing analysis of these datasets; disseminates the results of this analysis to promote advocacy and support policymaking; and builds national and regional capacity for data collection and analysis.This data was collected in 2014 and made it to Dataverse in 2015. 本数据集包含针对农业研究与开发（R&D）的财政、人力及制度资源的国家级数据。准确可靠且具备国际可比性的农业研发投资、人力能力与制度架构相关量化信息，是理解研究对中低收入国家农业增长贡献的核心基础。提供此类数据是国际粮食政策研究所（IFPRI）农业科学技术指标（Agricultural Science and Technology Indicators, ASTI）项目的使命。ASTI依托覆盖国家级、区域级及国际级合作伙伴的庞大协作网络，从参与农业研发的政府机构、高等院校、非营利组织以及（可行范围内）私营部门采集并分析相关数据。该项目持续对上述数据集开展分析工作，传播分析成果以推动政策倡导并支持政策制定，同时提升国家及区域层面的数据采集与分析能力。本数据集采集于2014年，并于2015年上传至Dataverse平台。数据文件：http://www.asti.cgiar.org/yemen
