Data for "Regime-Dependent Controls on Marine Boundary Layer Cloud Lifetime Revealed by Lagrangian Stereo Wind Observations"

his dataset contains the data used to support the analyses, figures, and conclusions presented in the manuscript “Regime-Dependent Controls on Marine Boundary Layer Cloud Lifetime Revealed by Lagrangian Stereo Wind Observations.” The archive includes stereo-wind atmospheric motion vector data used for Figure 1 (AMVdata.zip), ground-point retrieval data used to evaluate stereo-wind height and horizontal-velocity uncertainty in Figure 2 (error_set.zip), and the extracted and processed marine boundary layer cloud-track data used for the remaining figures and statistical analyses (CloudTracks.zip). The cloud cases were extracted from larger NASA 3D Winds retrieval datasets generated from publicly available GOES-R Advanced Baseline Imager observations. Environmental variables used in the analysis were derived from ERA5 reanalysis. The full NASA 3D Winds production archive and processing system are not included.
