The restorative indirect effect of ADSCs on activated IMS/N hepatic stellate cells was evaluated by gene expression analysis (DNA microarray). IMS/N were stimulated by IL17A, and the effect of media derived by cell culture of ADSCs was verified by gene expression analysis. IMS/N cells were cultured with or without IL17A, and with or without media derived from the cell culture of ADSCs. Then total RNA was isolated from IMS/N cells. Total RNAs was used for DNA microarray analysis and analyzed the gene expression. Quantile normalization was performed. Gene list of upregulated genes in IMS/N plus IL17A condition (downregulated in IMS/N condition) is obtained and used for MetaCore Enrichment Pathway analysis. Furthermore, gene list of upregulated genes in IMS/N plus IL17A condition (downregulated in IMS/N plus IL17A plus ADSCs' media condition) is obtained and used for MetaCore Enrichment Pathway analysis.
