NRS-555 | Set of Series "A" centenary prints

These are poster size prints and printing quality transparencies of original paintings by artist Phil Belbin, who was commissioned by the Board of Fire Commissioners in 1984 to produce two paintings to commemorate the centenary of the New South Wales Fire Brigades. Five Hundred of each print were printed on special archival quality paper, signed by the artist and the Chief Officer of the New South Wales Brigades, and fifteen hundred of each were printed on premium quality paper. Both of these were sold through the Board of Fire Commissioners. These prints described here are part of the limited edition series of 500 (Series "A"). The first print is Call to Fire (1884) No.236/500, and the second print is Firefighters (1984)" No.236/500.
