This comparison provides an overview of shares of energy use from Renewable Energy Sources (RES) of the EU-member states. It shows the trend of shares of energy use from RES for the past for the three different sectors electricity, heating and cooling and transport. Furthermore, an approximate estimate for the following year is also given. For all sectors, it is predicted whether the target of the year 2020 will be achieved or not.
