Contrast-induced acute kidney injury (CI-AKI) has been reported to be the third most common cause of hospital-acquired acute kidney injury, but the exact mechanism behind its development remains unclear. To explore and elucidate the pathogenesis of CI-AKI, here we treated HK-2 cells with 80 mg I/ml of the ioversol for 24 h. Total RNA was extracted for RNA-Seq analysis, cDNA library construction and sequencing were performed using MGISEQ-2000RS platform.
