Warming Center Locations and Temporary Inclement Weather Shelters

This layer contains information on location of warming centers and temporary inclement weather shelters for winter storm response. The layer will need to be updated manually as the Office of Homeless Solutions activates the inclement weather shelters and/or as new information is received. In addition, the status of the shelters will need to be verified to be certain. This layer is supporting the following: Temporary Inclement Weather Shelters web map Temporary Inclement Weather Shelters application, and Community Lifelines Application, which is used by City of Dallas Office of Emergency Management and Crisis Response during emergency events. Note: The City of Dallas Community Lifelines Application is an internal online platform limited to OEM staff and Dallas City Agencies to facilitate accessing the City’s available data to support decision-making during emergency response.
