To determine Sox4 function during intrathymic αβ T cell development, global transcriptome analysis was performed and suggested a deficit in miR181 expression in Sox4-deficient DP thymocytes. Overall design: Thymus immature TCRγδ V2 cells and CD4+ CD8+ double positive T cells are sorted from two weeks old mice for RNA extraction and hybridization on Affymetrix microarrays.
