The aim of this work was to study the cellular gene expression profiles associated with the entry mechanism of Salmonella typhimurium. Whatever the bacterial strain used for infection, the expression of numerous genes associated with the extracellular matrix was modified. Six biological replicates for non-infected cells, six for the cells infected with the DinvASur and the 14028Sur strains and five biological replicates for the cells infected with the D(rck, pagN) strain.
