Conceptual Maps of Ambient Music and Listening (visual qualitative data)

<p><strong>Conceptual research visualizations / visual knowledge mapping</strong></p><p>A set of HTML5/CSS/JS based semantic maps presenting relationships between theoretical categories related to ambient music, background music, ways of listening, and descriptive terminology. The material was developed as part of the <a href="https://polishambient.pl/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Polish Ambient Music</a> (2023) project and reflects the results of an analysis of scientific literature, in-depth interviews and conceptual data.</p><p><strong>Application: </strong>Exploration and interpretation of epistemic relationships in sound studies; support for knowledge visualization methods in humanities research.</p><p><strong>Financing: </strong>Realised as part of a grant from the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.</p><p><strong>Tools: </strong>Visualizations based on <a href="https://visjs.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">VIS.JS</a> Library.
