St. Martin, relief from ca. 1500, wood, Bjæverskov Church (Sjælland), National Museum (Copenhagen, Denmark). Made with Memento Beta (now ReMake) from AutoDesk. St. Martin who died in 397, was originally a Roman soldier but ended his days as the bishop of Tours. He became a Christian after he had met a naked beggar and had shared his mantle with him.
