This BioProject investigates the gene expression changes in brown adipose tissue (BAT) and inguinal white adipose tissue (iWAT) of Neat1 knockout (KO) mice subjected to cold exposure. Neat1, a non-coding RNA known for its structural role in forming nuclear paraspeckles, has been previously linked to cellular responses under stress conditions. This study aims to elucidate the functional consequences of Neat1 absence in thermogenic tissues during cold-induced stress. By comparing the transcriptional profiles of BAT and iWAT from Neat1 KO and wild-type mice before and after cold exposure, we seek to uncover the regulatory roles of Neat1 in adipocyte differentiation and thermogenesis.
